The participating offices were asked to plan the reconstruction of the "Wisenta Haus" (a historic landmark) and to add an extension to this building with offices for the different departments including the president´s offices and special departments that needed ground floor vehical access.

Our concept adds a 5 story C-shaped extension on to the north-west-side of the existing Wisenta Haus. It is linked with two connecting stair cases each located at the end of the historic building´s wings. Its center was remodeled to install an appropriate entrance hall with an open air space, a stair case, elevetor and meeting rooms with a view into the yard.

The official main entrance was to be the central hall in the historic building - since most visitors will come by car and the parking area beeing located on the north side, it became necessary to design an additional entrance on the north side of the hall, accessable through the extension´s base and the yard.
