The building has a wood frame structure on top of a massive base - this allows for a high degree of
pefebrication and reduction of building time. The outer skin (roof and walls) consists of
thuringian slate, a material quite common in this rough climatic part of the land.
The dark envelope covers a friendly wooden inside - forming the basic tension of this design. The
extensive use of wood on ceiling, walls and floor at the inside dominates the space atmosphere.
