In the city center of Erfurt on a difficult triangular site we where chosen to design a commercial building including housing on the top floors. The building marks the end of a turn of the century block and is directed towards the main shopping area of the city. A broad passage way next to the historic neighbour building includes some parking and allows to reach the entrance of the "Ursulinen Monastry" behind. The vertical circulation of the new building is also accessable from here.

The four story building develops its hight in relation to the neighbouring buildings. Ground floor and first floor have a commercial use - the third and fourth floor have attractive maisonette appartments of different sizes. The façade is made of glass - in part with printed glasses allowing a filtered view of the inside.
