At the outskirts of the Palmengarten in Frankfurt we had to desin a café, that should be accessable from inside the garden as well as from the street outside. We developed the idea of a greenhouse with a soft triangular glass shape that should generate the image of a glass pebble or an illuminated cristal with the ability to change colours in different patterns during the day and night. The glass volume should thereby become a new landmark within the 'Palmengarten' as well as in the context of the outer neighbourhood of Frankfurt´s West End.
