On a site of the Erfurter Garden Exhibition ( EGA ) we developed projects with mixed purposes (artist´s lofts and housing) that should replace the still existing historic exhibition halls. The park like area, which is listed as a historic landmark, suggested cubic volumes replicating the shape of the old glass structures.

On an area next to the MDR-broadcasting building we designed a commercial complex serving as an extension for the main building. Here again, the shape of the building had to relate to the former volumes of the historic glass halls that stood at the same spot.

In addition, we developed concepts for a housing project in another part of the EGA-area. Replicating the segmented row-house pattern it generates attracitve spacial variations on the whole site.
