In a small workshop building (historic landmark), originally built by a locksmith in the turn of the 19th century our office and one appartment unit is located. It is a typical loft situation interpreting the existing building´s lay out in terms of modern office and living space requirements.

On the first floor we developed two activity nodes, marked by suspended ceiling planes. The original linear floor lay-out with a middle axes and adjacent small space pockets was dissolved and changed into a more areal interpretation with a "space in space" concept.
