Our design suggested a square shaped building in connection with a recessed sport court - both buildings dividing the site in 3 well proportioned areas serving the entrance, the school yard and the yard for the kindergarden. The square layout also supports energy conserving purposes.

The idea of our design, the intended detailing with colours and a selected choice of industrial materials was to generate a non perfectionistic "creative loft-atmosphere". It was meant to become an inviting "play-box" - a kind of children´s workshop that is cognitively, emotionally and socially stimulating and supports the pleasure of making and learning.
